| ○ | ○ | Article | The environmental monitoring system at the COSINE-100 experiment | The COSINE-100 experiment is designed to test the DAMA experiment which claimed an observation of a dark matter signal from an annual modulation in their residual event rate. To measure the 1 %-level signal amplitude, it is crucial to control and monitor nearly all environmental quantities that might systematically mimic the signal. The environmental monitoring also helps ensure a stable operation of the experiment. Here, we describe the design and performance of the centralized environmental monitoring system for the COSINE-100 experiment. | Kim, H.; Adhikari, G.; de Souza, E. Barbosa; Carlin, N.; Choi, J. | ○ | ○ | Article; Proceedings Paper | The silicon vertex detector of the Belle II experiment | In 2019 the Belle II experiment started data taking at the asymmetric SuperKEKB collider (KEK, Japan) operating at the Y(4S) resonance. Belle II will search for new physics beyond the standard model by collecting an integrated luminosity of 50 ab(-1). The silicon vertex detector (SVD), consisting of four layers of double-sided silicon strip sensors, is one of the two vertex sub-detectors. The SVD extrapolates the tracks to the inner pixel detector (PXD) with enough precision to correctly identify hits in the PXD belonging to the track. In addition the SVD has standalone tracking capability and utilizes ionization to enhance particle identification in the low momentum region. The SVD is operating reliably and with high efficiency, despite exposure to the harsh beam background of the highest peak-luminosity collider ever built. High signal-to-noise ratio and hit efficiency have been measured, as well as the spatial resolution; all these quantities show excellent stability over time. Data-simulation agreement on cluster properties has recently been improved through a careful tuning of the simulation. The precise hit-time resolution can be exploited to reject out-of-time hits induced by beam background, which will make the SVD more robust against higher levels of background. During the first three years of running, radiation damage effects on strip noise, sensor currents and depletion voltage have been observed, as well as some coupling capacitor failure due to intense radiation bursts. None of these effects cause significant degradation in the detector performance. | Irmler, C.; Adamczyk, K.; Aggarwal, L.; Aihara, H.; Aziz, T.; Bacher, S.; Bahinipati, S.; Batignani, G.; Baudot, J.; Behera, P. | ○ | ○ | Article | Crosstalk reduction in tabletop multiview display with fog screen | Fog screens offer a great advantage to be used as scattering screens in three-dimensional displays. In the absence of a fixed rigid form, fog screens work as screens without any physical obstruction. The density of water droplets can be regulated to adjust the screen's transparency and scattering level. This study proposes a method for crosstalk reduction between adjacent viewing windows by decreasing the divergence of view of the projector, with concentration lenses. By applying the Scheimpflug principle, we also reduce the keystone effect, which occurs when the fog screen is slanted with respect to the optical axis. In this study, we have realized a tabletop multiview fog display without any structures on the table and established that the proposed method is feasible for decreasing crosstalk effectively. | Jeon, Hosung; Lim, Sungjin; Jung, Minwoo; Yoon, Junghoo; Park, Changhwan; Seok, Junho; Yu, Ji-man; Hahn, Joonku | Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Elect & Elect Engn, Daegu, South Korea | 56663784700; 56706721300; 57216159562; 57697701000; 56706672100; 57696144400; 57697085900; 10142501600 | jhahn@knu.ac.kr; | ETRI JOURNAL | ETRI J | 1225-6463 | 2233-7326 | 44 | 4 | SCIE | ENGINEERING, ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC;TELECOMMUNICATIONS | 2022 | 1.4 | 82.0 | 0.08 | 2025-06-25 | 1 | 1 | crosstalk reduction; fog screen; multiview display; spatial multiplexing; three-dimensional image processing | SYSTEM | crosstalk reduction; fog screen; multiview display; spatial multiplexing; three-dimensional image processing | Crosstalk; Geometrical optics; Image processing; Optical data processing; Three dimensional displays; Crosstalk reduction; Density of water; Fog screen; Multiview displays; Scattering levels; Scattering screen; Spatial multiplexing; Three-dimensional display; Three-dimensional image processing; Water droplets; Fog | English | 2022 | 2022-08 | 10.4218/etrij.2021-0164 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | ||
| ○ | ○ | Article | Endophytic Fungi Controls the Physicochemical Status of Maize Crop under Salt Stress | Salt stress is one of the abiotic stresses which negatively affects the growth and yield of different plants world-wide. The purpose of the present investigation was to analyze the physiological and biochemical parameters of maize plants exposed to salt stress with or without fungal association. The results indicated that salinity negatively affected the growth attributes, biochemical parameters and ionic status in maize. In contrast, WSQ association has improved the growth parameters, antioxidant enzyme activity, IAA and metabolites, N, P, Ca, K and Mg concentrations in maize. Moreover, WSQ association reduced lipid-peroxidation, Na, Cl, Na/K and Ca/K ratio in maize during salinity stress. The results of the present study concluded that the endophyticfungal strain WSQ can serve as a good strategic-tool to improve maize growth under salt-stress. | Ali, Raid; Gul, Humaira; Hamayun, Muhammad; Rauf, Mamoona; Iqbal, Amjad; Hussain, Anwar; Lee, In-Jung | Abdul Wali Khan Univ Mardan, Dept Bot, Mardan, Pakistan; Abdul Wall Khan Univ Mardan, Dept Food Sci & Technol, Mardan, Pakistan; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Appl Biosci, Daegu 41566, South Korea | Iqbal, Amjad/E-2010-2014; Hussain, Anwar/N-1605-2019; Hamayun, Muhammad/B-1694-2010; Lee, In-Jung/GLS-0432-2022; rauf, mamoona/AAC-3246-2019; Rauf, Mamoona/AAC-3246-2019 | 57222024662; 7003592765; 59297330100; 55609311400; 10142205100; 35621772200; 16425830900 | hamayun@awkum.edu.pk; | POLISH JOURNAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES | POL J ENVIRON STUD | 1230-1485 | 2083-5906 | 31 | 1 | SCIE | ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES | 2022 | 1.8 | 82.0 | 1.16 | 2025-06-25 | 18 | 20 | endophytic fungi; proline; salinity; maize; endogenous hormones | SALINITY STRESS; RAPID-DETERMINATION; PROLINE; GROWTH; CHLOROPLASTS; BALANCE; OXYGEN | Endogenous hormones; Endophytic fungi; Maize; Proline; Salinity | English | 2022 | 2022 | 10.15244/pjoes/134540 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | ||
| ○ | ○ | Article | Quad-Band multi-polarized antenna with modified electric-inductive-capacitive resonator | A compact circularly polarized (CP) patch antenna is presented for modern communication systems. The prospective antenna consists of a microstrip-line inset-fed rectangular patch and a defected ground plane. A rotated rectangular slot and a modified electric-inductive-capacitive (m-ELC) resonator are introduced in the patch and the ground plane to achieve multiband behaviour. A corner of the radiating patch is truncated and an arrow-shaped stub is introduced for generating circular polarization. The physical area of the substrate is 0.26 lambda(0) x 0.22 lambda(0), and the radiator size is 0.16 lambda(0) x 0.14 lambda(0), where lambda(0) is the free-space wavelength estimated at the lowest frequency. The measured (S-11 <=-10 dB) bandwidths of the antenna are 80 MHz (3.58%) at 2.23 GHz, 75 MHz (2.64%) at 2.84 GHz, 80 MHz (2.50%) at 3.19 GHz, and 70 MHz (1.82%) at 3.83 GHz. The measured 3-dB axial ratio bandwidths are 40 MHz (1.41%), 100 MHz (3.12%), and 60 MHz (1.57%) at 2.84, 3.20 and 3.82 GHz, respectively. The proposed planar antenna design does not need dual-feed or multi-layered patches for achieving multiple CP bands. It offers easy integration with the printed circuits of the communication systems. | Singh, Ghanshyam; Kanaujia, Binod Kumar; Pandey, Vijay Kumar; Kumar, Sachin | Feroze Gandhi Inst Engn & Technol, Dept Elect & Commun Engn, Raebareii 229316, India; Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Tech Univ, Lucknow 226031, Uttar Pradesh, India; Jawaharlal Nehru Univ, Sch Computat & Integrat Sci, New Delhi 110067, India; Noida Inst Engn & Technol, Dept Elect & Commun Engn, Greater Noida 201306, India; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Elect Engn, Daegu 41566, South Korea | SINGH, Dr GHANSHYAM/AAN-6377-2020; Kumar, Sachin/W-2211-2019; pandey, vijay kumar/MBH-8941-2025; Kanaujia, Binod/L-6484-2019 | 57209819290; 56962785800; 59213310600; 56907994000 | gupta.sachin0708@gmail.com; | INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF MICROWAVE AND WIRELESS TECHNOLOGIES | INT J MICROW WIREL T | 1759-0787 | 1759-0795 | 14 | 1 | SCIE | ENGINEERING, ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC;TELECOMMUNICATIONS | 2022 | 1.4 | 82.0 | 0.71 | 2025-06-25 | 6 | 13 | Circular polarization; compact antenna; ELC resonator; quad-band antenna | POLARIZED PATCH ANTENNA; SPLIT-RING RESONATORS; SLOT ANTENNA; WLAN | Circular polarization; compact antenna; ELC resonator; quad-band antenna | Antenna feeders; Antenna grounds; Bandwidth; Circular polarization; Microstrip antennas; Resonators; Slot antennas; Axial ratio bandwidth; Capacitive resonators; Circularly polarized; Defected ground plane; Free-space wavelengths; Polarized antennas; Radiating patches; Rectangular slots; Microwave antennas | English | 2022 | 2022-02 | 10.1017/s1759078721000106 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |

| ○ | ○ | Article | Stemphylium Solani Stabilized the Physicochemical Characteristics of Host Plant Species During Stress | Most of the plant species are susceptible to various ecological constraints, including high temperature stress. Endophytic fungi can defend the host crops from the extreme effects of thermal stress. We isolated fungal endophytes from a wild plant species Sonchus asper L. to study its effect on the physicochemical characteristics of Helianthus annuus L. and Glycine max L. exposed to high temperature stress. Biochemical and physiological parameters, such as chlorophyll contents, total biomass and height of the Helianthus annuus and Glycine max were promoted, whereas the production of ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species) and lipid peroxidation were inhibited in the fungal inoculated plants. Furthermore, higher amounts of ROS-degrading antioxidants [CAT (catalase), SOD (superoxide dismutase), POD (peroxidase), GR (glutathione-reductase) and AAO (ascorbic acid oxidase)], sugars, proteins, lipids and phenolics were noted in host crops. Lower concentration of proline and ABA on the other hand was observed in plants inoculated with fungal strain and exposed to heat stress. The potent strain was found to be Stemphylium solani after amplification of the ITS region of 18 S rDNA. The results concluded that S. solani can be handy in mitigating heat stress in food crops. | Ismail, Ismail; Hamayun, Muhammad; Hussain, Anwar; Iqbal, Amjad; Khan, Sumera Afzal; Ahmad, Ayaz; Gul, Sarah; Kim, Ho-Youn; Lee, In-Jung | Abdul Wali Khan Univ Mardan, Dept Bot, Mardan, Pakistan; Abdul Wali Khan Univ Mardan, Dept Food Sci & Technol, Mardan, Pakistan; Univ Peshawar, Ctr Biotechnol & Microbiol, Peshawar, Pakistan; Abdul Wali Khan Univ Mardan, Dept Biotechnol, Mardan, Pakistan; Int Islamic Univ, Dept Biol Sci, FBAS, Islamabad, Pakistan; Korea Inst Sci & Technol KIST, Smart Farm Res Ctr, Gangwon, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Dept Appl Biosci, Daegu 41566, South Korea | Hamayun, Muhammad/B-1694-2010; Ahmad, Ayaz/GVT-1025-2022; Ismail, Ismayadi/GLS-4262-2022; Kim, Soo/P-7880-2016; Iqbal, Amjad/E-2010-2014; Lee, In-Jung/GLS-0432-2022; Hussain, Anwar/N-1605-2019; Khan, Abdul/H-5910-2011; Ayaz, Ahmad/GVT-1025-2022 | 58253439200; 59297330100; 35621772200; 10142205100; 9636646900; 55420263200; 57216951757; 57191717301; 16425830900 | hamayun@awkum.edu.pk;ijlee@knu.ac.kr; | POLISH JOURNAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES | POL J ENVIRON STUD | 1230-1485 | 2083-5906 | 31 | 2 | SCIE | ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES | 2022 | 1.8 | 82.0 | 0.35 | 2025-06-25 | 4 | 6 | Keywords; endophytic fungi; Stemphylium solani; Sonchus asper; heat stress; antioxidants | RAPID-DETERMINATION; MYCORRHIZAL FUNGI; GROWTH; FLAVONOIDS; TOLERANCE; ACID | Antioxidants; Endophytic fungi; Heat stress; Sonchus asper; Stemphylium solani | English | 2022 | 2022 | 10.15244/pjoes/139300 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | ||
| ○ | ○ | Article | Particulate matter-induced hypomethylation of Alu and LINE1 in normal human bronchial epithelial cells and epidermal keratinocytes | Background: Airborne particulate matter (PM), a complex mixture of organic and inorganic compounds, is a major public health concern due to its adverse health effects. Understanding the biological action of PM is of particular importance in the improvement of public health. Differential methylation of repetitive elements (RE) by PM might have severe consequences for the structural integrity of the genome and on transcriptional activity, thereby affecting human health. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of inhaled and non-inhaled PM (PM2.5, PM10, and PM10-PAH) exposure on DNA methylation. We quantitatively measured the methylation content of Alu and LINE1 in PM-treated normal human bronchial epithelial cells (NHBE) and normal human epidermal keratinocytes (NHEK) by using whole-genome bisulfite sequencing and pyrosequencing. Results: All PMs exposure significantly lowered Alu and LINE1 methylation in both cells than in mock-treated controls. Hypomethylation was more prominent in PM10-PAH exposed-NHBE and PM10 exposed-NHEK. AIu and LINE1 methylation change exhibited different sensitivity according to the subfamily evolutionary ages, with stronger effects on the oldest L1-M and Alu J in NHBE, and oldest L1-M and youngest Alu S in NHEK. Conclusions: These results demonstrate that the differential susceptibility of PM-induced hypomethylation of Alu and LINE1 depends upon RE evolutionary age and PM type. | Lee, Ji Yun; Lee, Won Kee; Kim, Dong Sun | Dept Anat, Daegu, South Korea; BK21 Plus KNU Biomed Convergence Program, Daegu, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Med, Prevent Med, Daegu, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Med, Dept Anat, 2-101 Dongin Dong, Daegu 702422, South Korea | Kim, Dae/AAJ-7518-2021 | 37124481700; 22953484700; 57125070500 | doskim@knu.ac.kr; | GENES AND ENVIRONMENT | GENES ENVIRON | 1880-7046 | 1880-7062 | 44 | 1 | SCIE | GENETICS & HEREDITY;TOXICOLOGY | 2022 | 1.7 | 82.2 | 0.42 | 2025-06-25 | 3 | 4 | Particulate matter; DNA methylation; WGBS; Alu; LINE1; Subfamily | DNA METHYLATION; AIR-POLLUTION; TRANSPOSABLE ELEMENTS; OXIDATIVE DAMAGE; HEALTH; DISEASES; MOBILE | Alu; DNA methylation; LINE1; Particulate matter; Subfamily; WGBS | DNA; polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon; airway epithelium cell; Alu repeat; Article; bronchus epithelium; controlled study; DNA methylation; environmental exposure; human; human cell; keratinocyte; long interspersed nuclear element 1; normal human; particulate matter 10; particulate matter 2.5; pyrosequencing; quantitative analysis; whole genome bisulfite sequencing | English | 2022 | 2022-02-16 | 10.1186/s41021-022-00235-4 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |
| ○ | ○ | Article | Prognostic Significance of the Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio in Patients with Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer treated with Intravesical Bacillus Calmette-Guerin and the Relationship with the CUETO Scoring Model | Purpose: In this study, we evaluated the predictability of a modified Club Urologico Espanol de Tratamiento Oncologico (CUETO) scoring model and preoperative neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) in patients with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). Materials and Methods: From August 2005 to May 2016, a total of 281 patients received intravesical bacillus Calmette-Guerin therapy after transurethral resection of a bladder tumor. The pathologic stage of all patients was Ta or T1. Of 281 patients, 84 (29.9%) experienced recurrence and 14 (5.0%) developed progression. The mean follow-up period was 46 months. The cut-off value for NLRs was 2.29. Results: One hundred-eight patients (38.4%) displayed a high NLR (> 2.29). In Kaplan-Meier curve analysis, a high NLR was associated with lower recurrence-free survival (RFS) (P 3, recurrent tumors, and a high NLR were independent factors predicting recurrence (all P 2.29 was identified as a significant factor for predicting tumor recurrence and progression. The inclusion of preoperative NLR enhanced the accuracy of the CUETO model to predict disease progression. | Chung, Jae-Wook; Kim, Jin Woo; Lee, Eun Hye; Chun, So Young; Park, Dong Jin; Byeon, Kyeong Hyeon; Choi, Seock Hwan; Lee, Jun Nyung; Kim, Bum Soo; Kim, Hyun Tae; Yoo, Eun Sang; Kwon, Tae Gyun; Ha, Yun-Sok; Kim, Tae-Hwan | Kyungpook Natl Univ, Chilgok Hosp, Sch Med, Dept Urol, Daegu, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ Hosp, Joint Inst Regenerat Med, Daegu, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ Hosp, Biomed Res Inst, Daegu, South Korea; Dongguk Univ, Sch Med, Dept Urol, Gyeongju, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Kyungpook Natl Univ Hosp, Sch Med, Dept Urol, Daegu, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Med, Dept Urol, Daegu, South Korea | ; Kim, Tae/B-9921-2013; Kim, Soo-Yeon/ADR-9663-2022 | 35204798500; 57188553095; 57189661699; 8688166900; 57220636322; 57204423048; 9742645500; 16301364600; 57202817150; 55739531300; 7006609239; 15073765400; 35487226400; 57797823600 | yunsokha@gmail.com;doctork@knu.ac.kr; | UROLOGY JOURNAL | UROL J | 1735-1308 | 1735-546X | 19 | 4 | SCIE | UROLOGY & NEPHROLOGY | 2022 | 1.5 | 82.4 | 1.06 | 2025-06-25 | 5 | 6 | Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio; Bacillus Calmette-Guerin; Club Urologico Espanol de Tratamiento Oncologico risk model; Survival | UROTHELIAL CARCINOMA; PREDICTING RECURRENCE; EAU GUIDELINES; PROGRESSION; SURVIVAL; STAGE; PRETREATMENT; METAANALYSIS; OUTCOMES; DISEASE | Bacillus calmette–guérin; Club urológico español de tratamiento oncológico risk model; Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio; Survival | BCG Vaccine; Disease Progression; Female; Humans; Lymphocytes; Neoplasm Invasiveness; Neoplasm Recurrence, Local; Neutrophils; Prognosis; Retrospective Studies; Urinary Bladder Neoplasms; BCG vaccine; bladder tumor; disease exacerbation; female; human; lymphocyte; neutrophil; pathology; prognosis; retrospective study; tumor invasion; tumor recurrence | English | 2022 | 2022 (JUL-AUG) | 10.22037/uj.v18i.6765 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |

| ○ | ○ | Article | Prevention of temporary emergency medical center closure through isolation zone and screening triage in COVID-19 outbreak | Background: In Korea, temporary emergency medical center (EMC) closures are used to prevent nosocomial transmission of COVID-19, but they can harm the local emergency medical system. This study aimed to evaluate the occurrence of temporary EMC closures and the adequacy of isolation zone and screening triage during the Methods: This retrospective study was conducted in Daegu, Korea from 18 February 2020 to 30 April 2020, in patients who caused temporary EMC closures. The distribution of EMC closures according to time and isolation zone installation, screening triage by reasons for RT-PCR SARS-CoV-2 tests, and causes of EMC closures was analysed. Results: There were a total of 26 temporary EMCs closures including eight multi-center closures. Temporary EMCs closures occurred frequently in the early stages of outbreak. Temporary EMC closure was made without RT-PCR SARS-CoV-2 confirmation. Before and after isolation zone installation, there were 24 and two temporary EMC closures, respectively. Respiratory symptoms were the most common basis for identification at screening triage centers, and fevers were the symptoms most commonly recognized by clinicians. Most (88.5%) patients causing closures met one or more of the four criteria at EMC admission. The most common cause of temporary EMC closures was patient complaint of prominent symptoms suggestive of another disease regardless of presence of screening criteria (18 cases, 69.2%). Conclusions: Isolation zone installation and strictly applying the four criteria individually in screening triage is useful in reducing temporary EMC closure. | Park, Sin-Youl; Lee, Kyung Woo; Lee, Suk Hee; Kim, Jong Kun; Cho, Jae Wan; Jean, Jae Cheon; Cho, Jae Chul | Yeungnam Univ, Dept Emergency Med, Coll Med, Daegu 42415, South Korea; Catholic Univ, Dept Emergency Med, Daegu Sch Med, Daegu 42472, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Med, Dept Emergency Med, Daegu 41944, South Korea; Keimyung Univ, Dept Emergency Med, Sch Med, Daegu 42601, South Korea; Daegu Fatima Hosp, Dept Emergency Med, Daegu 41199, South Korea | Chung, Jaehoon/JNS-7698-2023; Kim, Joo/JAZ-0897-2023 | 56184913500; 56116804300; 57205602138; 55915816900; 7403536065; 57215830861; 57437033300 | turtle072@hanmail.net; | SIGNA VITAE | SIGNA VITAE | 1334-5605 | 1845-206X | 18 | 1 | SCIE | EMERGENCY MEDICINE | 2022 | 1.1 | 82.8 | 0.17 | 2025-06-25 | 1 | 1 | Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19); Emergency medicine; Triage; Infection control; Isolation; Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2); South Korea | CORONAVIRUS DISEASE 2019; CLINICAL CHARACTERISTICS; OUTCOMES; DAEGU | Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19); Emergency medicine; Infection control; Isolation; Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2); South Korea; Triage | adult; aged; Article; clinical article; computer assisted tomography; coronavirus disease 2019; COVID-19 testing; dyspnea; emergency health service; emergency medicine; female; fever; flank pain; glaucoma; health care; hip pain; human; hyperglycemia; infection control; isolation zone; male; neck pain; nose polyp; oxygen therapy; peak expiratory flow; pneumonia; polymerase chain reaction; prospective study; retrospective study; SARS coronavirus; Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2; sore throat; thorax radiography; virus pneumonia | English | 2022 | 2022-01 | 10.22514/sv.2021.111 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |
| ○ | ○ | Article | Embedding tangles and the Kauffman bracket polynomials | We give a necessary condition for a 4-tangle T to be embedded in a link by using a common divisor of two integers obtained from the Kauffman bracket polynomials of the numerator N(T) and the denominator D(T) of the tangle T. The Kauffman bracket polynomial of a link L is a regular isotopy invariant of links taking values in the Laurent polynomial ring Z[A, A(-1)]. For each integer i, we associate an integer B-L (i), which is obtained from the Kauffman bracket polynomial of L. Let d be the greatest common divisor of B-N(T)(i) and B-D(T) (i) for a 4-tangle T. We will show that there exists a natural number n such that d divides i(n)B(L)(i) if the tangle T is embedded in a link L. | Jeong, Myeong-Ju; Kim, Yunjae | Korea Sci Acad KA1ST, Dept Math, 111 Baekyang Gwanmun Ro, Busan 614822, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Coll Nat Sci, Dept Math, Daegu 41566, South Korea | 26661576700; 57204477406 | mjjeong@ksa.kaist.ac.kr;2kimholzi@gmail.com; | JOURNAL OF KNOT THEORY AND ITS RAMIFICATIONS | J KNOT THEOR RAMIF | 0218-2165 | 1793-6527 | 31 | 06 | SCIE | MATHEMATICS | 2022 | 0.5 | 83.2 | 0 | 2025-06-25 | 0 | 0 | Tangles; links; embedding tangles; Kauffman bracket polynomial | INVARIANT; KNOTS | Embedding tangles; Kauffman bracket polynomial; Links; Tangles | English | 2022 | 2022-05 | 10.1142/s0218216522500389 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |||

| ○ | ○ | Article | On invariants for surface-links in entropic magmas via marked graph diagrams | Niebrzydowski and Przytycki defined a Kauffman bracket magma and constructed the invariant P of framed links in 3-space. The invariant is closely related to the Kauffman bracket polynomial. The normalized bracket polynomial is obtained from the Kauffman bracket. polynomial by the multiplication of indeterminate and it is an ambient isotopy invariant for links. In this paper, we reformulate the multiplication by using a map from the set of framed links to a Kauffman bracket magma in order that P is invariant for links in 3-space. We define a generalization of a Kauffman bracket magma, which is called a marked Kauffman bracket magma. We find the conditions to be invariant under Yoshikawa moves except the first one and use a map from the set of admissible marked graph diagrams to a marked Kauffman bracket magma to obtain the invariant for surface-links in 4-space. | Choi, Seonmi; Kim, Seongjeong | Kyungpook Natl Univ, Nonlinear Dynam & Math Applicat Ctr, Daegu 41566, South Korea; Jilin Univ, Dept Math, Changchun 130012, Peoples R China | 56306623900; 55930881300 | smchoi@knu.ac.kr;kimseongjeong@jlu.edu.cn; | JOURNAL OF KNOT THEORY AND ITS RAMIFICATIONS | J KNOT THEOR RAMIF | 0218-2165 | 1793-6527 | 31 | 13 | SCIE | MATHEMATICS | 2022 | 0.5 | 83.2 | 0 | 2025-06-25 | 0 | 0 | Surface-knot; marked graph diagram; Kauffman bracket polynomial; Kauffman bracket magma | 4-SPACE; KNOTS | Kauffman bracket magma; Kauffman bracket polynomial; marked graph diagram; Surface-knot | English | 2022 | 2022-11 | 10.1142/s0218216522500869 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |||
| ○ | ○ | Article | Semi-Symmetric Curvature Properties of Robertson-Walker Spacetimes | The aim of the present paper is to characterize Robertson-Walker (RW) spacetimes satisfying certain curvature conditions. A necessary and suffi-cient condition for a RW spacetime to be Ricci semisymmetric is given. We prove that a four-dimensional Ricci symmetric RW spacetime is vacuum. We also study the properties of projective collineation and matter collineation within the framework of a four-dimensional Ricci symmetric RW spacetime. Among others, it is proved that a Lorentzian manifold of dimension n > 3 is a RW spacetime if and only if the spacetime is of quasi-constant curvature. Finally, some new characteristics of RW spacetimes are obtained. | De, Uday Chand; Suh, Young Jin; Chaubey, Sudhakar K. | Univ Calcutta, Dept Pure Math, 35,Ballygaunge Circular Rd, Kolkata 700019, W Bengal, India; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Dept Math, Daegu 41566, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, RIRCM, Daegu 41566, South Korea; Univ Technol & Appl Sci, Dept Informat Technol, Sect Math, POB 77, Shinas 324, Oman | Chaubey, S./ABB-6952-2021 | 7007046738; 7202260479; 36117508600 | uc-de@yahoo.com;yjsuh@knu.ac.kr;sudhakar.chaubey@shct.edu.om; | JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICAL PHYSICS ANALYSIS GEOMETRY | J MATH PHYS ANAL GEO | 1812-9471 | 1817-5805 | 18 | 3 | SCIE | MATHEMATICS, APPLIED;MATHEMATICS;PHYSICS, MATHEMATICAL | 2022 | 0.5 | 83.2 | 1.63 | 2025-06-25 | 6 | 8 | Lorentzian manifolds; symmetric spaces; Robertson-Walker spacetimes; generalized Robertson-Walker spacetimes; perfect fluid space-times; spacetime of quasi-constant curvature; projective and conformal cur-vature tensors | FLUID SPACETIMES; COLLINEATIONS; HYPERSURFACES | generalized Robertson–Walker spacetimes; Lorentzian manifolds; perfect fluid spacetimes; projective and conformal curvature tensors; Robertson–Walker spacetimes; spacetime of quasi-constant curvature; symmetric spaces | English | 2022 | 2022 | 10.15407/mag18.03.368 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 |
