| ○ | ○ | Article | Effect of Temperature and Precipitation on Acute Appendicitis Incidence in Seoul: A Time Series Regression Analysis | PurposeThis study aimed to investigate the relationship between meteorological factors, specifically temperature and precipitation, and the incidence of appendicitis in Seoul, South Korea.MethodsUsing data from the National Health Insurance Service spanning 2010-2020, the study analyzed 165,077 appendicitis cases in Seoul. Time series regression modeling with distributed-lag non-linear models was employed.ResultsRegarding acute appendicitis and daily average temperature, the incidence rate ratio (IRR) showed an increasing trend from approximately - 10 degrees C to 10 degrees C. At temperatures above 10 degrees C, the increase was more gradual. The IRR approached a value close to 1 at temperatures below - 10 degrees C and above 30 degrees C. Both total and complicated appendicitis exhibited similar trends. Increased precipitation was negatively associated with the incidence of total acute appendicitis around the 50 mm/day range, but not with complicated appendicitis.ConclusionsThe findings suggest that environmental factors, especially temperature, may play a role in the occurrence of appendicitis. This research underscores the potential health implications of global climate change and the need for further studies to understand the broader impacts of environmental changes on various diseases. | Baek, Kiook; Park, Sangjin; Park, Chulyong | Dongguk Univ, Gyeongju Coll Med, Dept Prevent Med, Gyeongju, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Grad Sch, Dept Med, Daegu, South Korea; Gyeongsang Natl Univ, Changwon Hosp, Coll Med, Dept Occupat & Environm Med, Jinju, South Korea; Yeungnam Univ, Coll Med, Dept Prevent Med & Publ Hlth, Daegu, South Korea; Yeungnam Univ Hosp, Dept Occupat & Environm Med, Daegu, South Korea | 57190335322; 57192071639; 57190335503 | ironyong@gmail.com; | INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF BIOMETEOROLOGY | INT J BIOMETEOROL | 0020-7128 | 1432-1254 | 68 | 12 | SCIE | BIOPHYSICS;ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES;METEOROLOGY & ATMOSPHERIC SCIENCES;PHYSIOLOGY | 2024 | 2.6 | 39.7 | 0 | 2025-05-07 | 0 | 0 | Appendicitis; Distributed lag non-linear models; Precipitation; Temperature; Time series regression | SEASONAL-VARIATIONS; EPIDEMIOLOGY; APPENDECTOMY; CALIFORNIA | Appendicitis; Distributed lag non-linear models; Precipitation; Temperature; Time series regression | Adolescent; Adult; Aged; Appendicitis; Child; Female; Humans; Incidence; Male; Middle Aged; Rain; Regression Analysis; Republic of Korea; Seoul; Temperature; Young Adult; rain; adolescent; adult; aged; appendicitis; child; epidemiology; female; human; incidence; male; middle aged; regression analysis; South Korea; temperature; young adult | English | 2024 | 2024-12 | 10.1007/s00484-024-02764-9 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | ||
| ○ | ○ | Article | Complex oxide thin films: A review on pulsed laser epitaxy growth | Pulsed laser epitaxy (PLE) has emerged as a pivotal technique in the fabrication of complex oxide thin films, offering unprecedented control over material composition and myriads of properties. Complex oxides exhibit various functionalities, such as high-Tc superconductivity, colossal magnetoresistance, and ferroelectricity, making them essential for advanced electromagnetic and optical applications. PLE facilitates the epitaxial growth of complex oxides using a high-power pulsed laser to ablate a solid target, generating a plume of material that is deposited onto a heated substrate. The process is highly adaptable and capable of achieving stoichiometric material in thin film form with high quality. This review explores the fundamental principles, system configurations, and essential growth parameters of PLE and highlights its role in advancing the field of complex oxide thin films. | Kim, Yunzyne; Choi, Yeongju; Lee, Sang A.; Choi, Woo Seok; Kang, Kyeong Tae | Kyungpook Natl Univ, Dept Phys, KNU G LAMP Project Grp, Daegu 41566, South Korea; Sungkyunkwan Univ, Dept Phys, Suwon 16419, South Korea; Pukyong Natl Univ, Dept Phys, Busan 48513, South Korea | Choi, Woo Seok/G-8783-2014 | 59319445800; 58651353400; 37056902200; 14031133800; 56002123900 | sangalee@pknu.ac.kr;choiws@skku.edu;ktkang@knu.ac.kr; | CURRENT APPLIED PHYSICS | CURR APPL PHYS | 1567-1739 | 1878-1675 | 68 | SCIE | MATERIALS SCIENCE, MULTIDISCIPLINARY;PHYSICS, APPLIED | 2024 | 3.1 | 39.8 | 0.74 | 2025-05-07 | 8 | 8 | Pulsed laser epitaxy; Complex oxide thin film; Deposition; Single crystal; Heterostructure | GAS-PHASE OXIDATION; STRAIN RELAXATION; DEPOSITION; TEMPERATURE; STABILITY; ABLATION; YBA2CU3O7-DELTA; INTERFACES; MORPHOLOGY; PRESSURE | Complex oxide thin film; Deposition; Heterostructure; Pulsed laser epitaxy; Single crystal | Colossal magnetoresistance; Epitaxial growth; High temperature superconductors; Oxide films; Pulsed laser deposition; Complex oxide thin film; Complex oxides; Electromagnetic applications; High power pulsed lasers; High T c; Material compositions; Optical applications; Oxide thin films; Property; Pulsed laser epitaxies; Single crystals | English | 2024 | 2024-12 | 10.1016/j.cap.2024.09.001 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | ||
| ○ | ○ | Article | Digital measurement of deciduous tooth dimensions in China: A cross-sectional survey | Objective: Crown dimensions data of deciduous teeth hold anthropological, forensic, and archaeological value. However, such information remains scarce for the Chinese population. This multi-center study aimed to collect a large sample of deciduous crown data from Chinese children using three-dimensional measurement methods and to analyze their dimensions. Design: A total of 1592 children's deciduous dentition samples were included, and the sample size was distributed according to Northeast, North, East, Northwest, Southwest and South China. Digital dental models were reconstructed from plaster dental models. Independent sample t test, paired t test, principal component analysis (PCA), and factor analysis (FA) were used to analyze the tooth crown dimensions. Result: 18,318 deciduous teeth from 1592 children were included. Males exhibited slightly larger values than females. The range of sexual dimorphism percentages for each measurement was as follows: mesiodistal diameter (0.40-2.08), buccolingual diameter (0.13-2.24), and maxillogingival diameter (0.48-3.37). The FA results showed that the main trend of crown dimensions changes was the simultaneous increase or decrease in mesiodistal diameter, buccolingual diameter and maxillogingival diameter in three directions. Conclusion: This is the first large-scale survey of deciduous tooth crown dimensions in China, which supplements the data of deciduous tooth measurement and provides a reference for clinical application. | Zhang, Tianyi; Gao, Xiaoli; Huang, Chao; Su, Shenping; Lin, Xiaoping; Yin, Lijun; Bi, Qingwei; Fan, Yongjie; Lin, Jiang; Wei, Jianming; Liu, Yingping; Chai, Lin; Xu, Mingyan; Chen, Xiaotao; Zhong, Wenyi; Yang, Xianghong; Zhang, Qingbin; Gao, Jing; Wang, Zuomin; Liu, Zhiqiang | Capital Med Univ, Beijing Chaoyang Hosp, Dept Stomatol, Beijing, Peoples R China; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Dent, Dept Orthodont, Daegu, South Korea; China Med Univ, Dept Stomatol, Shengjing Hosp, Shenyang, Peoples R China; Dandong Cent Hosp, Specialist Out Patient Dept, Stomatol Branch, Dandong, Liaoning, Peoples R China; Heilongjiang Stomatol Dis Ctr, Dept Dent Implantol, Haerbin, Peoples R China; Inner Mongolia Med Univ, Affiliated Hosp 4, Dept Stomatol, Baotou, Peoples R China; Capital Med Univ, Beijing Tongren Hosp, Dept Stomatol, Beijing, Peoples R China; Cangzhou Cent Hosp, Dept Stomatol, Cangzhou, Peoples R China; Childrens Hosp Shanxi, Dept Stomatol, Taiyuan, Shanxi, Peoples R China; Wannan Med Coll, Sch Stomatol, Wuhu, Peoples R China; Xiamen Med Coll, Dept Dent Implantol, Stomatol Hosp, Xiamen, Peoples R China; Peoples Hosp Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Reg, Dept Stomatol, Urumqi, Peoples R China; Zunyi Med Univ, Hosp Sch Stomatol, Dept Pediat Dent, Zunyi, Peoples R China; Kunming Yanan Hosp, Dept Stomatol, Kunming, Peoples R China; Guangzhou Med Univ, Affiliated Stomatol Hosp, Dept Temporomandibular Joint, Guangzhou, Peoples R China; Beijing Dongbo Dent Handpiece Co Ltd, Beijing, Peoples R China | liu, zhiqiang/E-4950-2018; Gao, Jingtao/NDS-6795-2025; Zhang, Tianyi/AAJ-6909-2020; Lei, Mingxing/K-1804-2016; Yin, Lijun/F-7798-2017 | 57207862200; 57481109400; 58978406100; 58978657100; 55651239600; 58978533700; 58978793100; 59634984000; 55710023100; 58978278900; 58978150600; 58573092800; 7403607478; 58978016100; 57820964500; 58978660000; 7407964826; 58978793300; 55850242600; 55714781700 | wzuomin@sina.cn;kokorora@sina.com; | ARCHIVES OF ORAL BIOLOGY | ARCH ORAL BIOL | 0003-9969 | 1879-1506 | 163 | SCIE | DENTISTRY, ORAL SURGERY & MEDICINE | 2024 | 2.1 | 39.8 | 0 | 2025-05-07 | 0 | 0 | Deciduous tooth; China; Tooth dimensions; Sexual dimorphism; Children | CROWN SIZE; SEXUAL DIMORPHISM; DENTITION; TEETH; CHILDREN | Children; China; Deciduous tooth; Sexual dimorphism; Tooth dimensions | Child; Child, Preschool; China; Cross-Sectional Studies; Factor Analysis, Statistical; Female; Humans; Imaging, Three-Dimensional; Male; Models, Dental; Odontometry; Principal Component Analysis; Sex Characteristics; Tooth Crown; Tooth, Deciduous; child; China; clinical trial; cross-sectional study; deciduous tooth; factor analysis; female; human; male; multicenter study; odontometry; preschool child; principal component analysis; procedures; sexual characteristics; three-dimensional imaging | English | 2024 | 2024-07 | 10.1016/j.archoralbio.2024.105941 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | ||
| ○ | ○ | Article | Linearizing AFM raster scans acquired using dual-stage lateral scanners | Dual-stage scanners can successfully increase the range of atomic force microscope (AFM) scanners in space and/or frequency by designing and constructing two nanopositioners with significant differences in static and dynamic characteristics. In such cases, the positioning signal has to be split to meet the displacement and frequency limitations of each stage. Without closed-loop displacement measurement sensors, linearizing images acquired using signals split in time and frequency can be challenging. A common method, often cumbersome and time consuming, uses inverse model-based feedforward compensation. In this work, we show that image- based linearization can be used to achieve acceptable results for raster scans acquired using dual-stage scanners. In particular, we apply the feedforward and image-based methods to our homemade dual-stage lateral scanner and high-speed AFM (HS-AFM) system. The acquired scans compare well for the two methods, indicating that image-based raster scan linearization can be used in place of inverse model-based feedforward approaches. | Juma, Oyoo Michael; Otieno, Luke Oduor; Nguyen, Thi Thu; Nguyen, Thi Ngoc; Lee, Yong Joong | Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Mech Engn, 80 Daehakro, Bukgu 41566, Daegu, South Korea | Otieno, Luke/KHW-8698-2024 | 58553964600; 57205578290; 58811314600; 57216184573; 57183248500 | yjlee76@knu.ac.kr; | CURRENT APPLIED PHYSICS | CURR APPL PHYS | 1567-1739 | 1878-1675 | 67 | SCIE | MATERIALS SCIENCE, MULTIDISCIPLINARY;PHYSICS, APPLIED | 2024 | 3.1 | 39.8 | 0 | 2025-05-07 | 0 | 0 | Dual-stage scanners; Atomic force microscope (AFM); AFM scan linearization; High-speed atomic force microscope (HS-AFM) | MICROSCOPE; ACTUATION | AFM scan linearization; Atomic force microscope (AFM); Dual-stage scanners; High-speed atomic force microscope (HS-AFM) | Inverse problems; Microscopes; Rasterization; Atomic force; Atomic force microscope; Atomic force microscope scan linearization; Dual stage; Dual-stage scanner; High Speed; High-speed atomic force microscope; Linearisation; Linearization | English | 2024 | 2024-11 | 10.1016/j.cap.2024.07.015 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | ||
| ○ | ○ | Article | Machine learning of kesterite materials using cost-effective hybrid density functional theory | Kesterite materials have received much attention for earth -abundant photovoltaic applications, however, their record cell efficiency is still lower than other thin film solar cells. We performed high -throughput calculations using hybrid density functional theory to find an alternative absorber material. The atomic structures were cost-effectively optimized by employing a downsampled k -point grid for the Fock exchange potential, and therefore the electronic band gap (Eg) was obtained in good agreement with the conventional hybrid calculation. Based on hybrid DFT calculations, we develop machine learning (ML) models to predict the Eg and suggest the empirical equation for Eg with the accuracy of the root -mean -square -error of 0.137 eV and R2 of 0.921. We found that the distance between group -IV and group -VI elements is important to estimate Eg. Using the developed ML models, we searched materials with predicted Eg within the optimum range of 1.0-1.5 eV and also compared their Eg with hybrid functional calculations. Based on our ML and DFT calculations, we suggest nine materials whose ML predicted and DFT calculated Eg in the optimum range for photovoltaic applications. | Lee, Donggeon; Kim, Sooran; Park, Ji-Sang | Kyungpook Natl Univ, Dept Phys, Daegu 41566, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, KNU Inst Basic Sci, KNU LAMP Res Ctr, Dept Phys Educ, Daegu 41566, South Korea; Sungkyunkwan Univ SKKU, SKKU Adv Inst Nanotechnol SAINT, Suwon 16419, South Korea; Sungkyunkwan Univ SKKU, Dept Nano Engn, Suwon 16419, South Korea | Park, Ji-Sang/F-9944-2010 | 57199466655; 55146733200; 36671796300 | sooran@knu.ac.kr;jisangpark@skku.edu; | CURRENT APPLIED PHYSICS | CURR APPL PHYS | 1567-1739 | 1878-1675 | 59 | SCIE | MATERIALS SCIENCE, MULTIDISCIPLINARY;PHYSICS, APPLIED | 2024 | 3.1 | 39.8 | 0.96 | 2025-05-07 | 3 | 3 | CU2FESNS4 THIN-FILMS; SOLAR-CELLS; BAND-GAP; DATABASE; APPROXIMATION; PREDICTION; CU2COSNS4; CU2MNSNS4; MODELS | Cost effectiveness; Density functional theory; Energy gap; Hybrid materials; Mean square error; Solar power generation; Thin film solar cells; Absorber material; Cell efficiency; Cost effective; DFT calculation; High-throughput; Hybrid density functional theory; Kesterites; Machine learning models; Machine-learning; Photovoltaic applications; Machine learning | English | 2024 | 2024-03 | 10.1016/j.cap.2023.11.017 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | ||||
| ○ | ○ | Article | Proper spectroscopic analysis of transition metal oxides using ex-situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy | Transition metal oxides (TMOs) are one of the most exciting classes of materials due to their emergent phenomena over the past few decades. In general, the emergent phenomena in TMOs are driven by the chemical state of the TMOs. Therefore, it is vital to understand the correlation between the chemical state and the physical properties of the TMOs. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) is the most widely used method for analyzing the chemical state of materials. However, when using XPS to investigate the chemical properties of TMOs, a lack of clear theoretical explanations for the interpretation, including discussions of oxygen vacancies, inaccurate XPS peak fitting, and inaccurate calibration, often leads to misinterpretation. In this review, we present a brief introduction to XPS, the peak fitting/deconvolution method for analyzing the chemical state of TMOs, and several case studies that use XPS to correlate the chemical state and the physical properties of TMOs. | Lee, Dooyong; Park, Sungkyun | Kyungpook Natl Univ, Dept Phys Educ, Daegu 41566, South Korea; Pusan Natl Univ, Dept Phys, Busan 46241, South Korea; Pusan Natl Univ, Res Ctr Dielect & Adv Matter Phys, Busan 46241, South Korea | 56199505400; 10539429300 | psk@pusan.ac.kr; | CURRENT APPLIED PHYSICS | CURR APPL PHYS | 1567-1739 | 1878-1675 | 64 | SCIE | MATERIALS SCIENCE, MULTIDISCIPLINARY;PHYSICS, APPLIED | 2024 | 3.1 | 39.8 | 0.45 | 2025-05-07 | 3 | 4 | Transition metal oxide; Stoichiometry; X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy; Chemical state; Electronic structure | ITO THIN-FILMS; XPS ANALYSIS; VO2; STATE; NANOSTRUCTURES; ENERGY; FE2+ | Chemical state; Electronic structure; Stoichiometry; Transition metal oxide; X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy | Electronic structure; Photoelectrons; Photons; Physical properties; Spectroscopic analysis; Transition metal oxides; Transition metals; Case-studies; Chemical state; Deconvolution method; Electronic.structure; Emergent phenomenon; Ex situ; Peak fitting; Transition-metal oxides; X ray photoelectron spectroscopy | English | 2024 | 2024-08 | 10.1016/j.cap.2024.05.007 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |||
| ○ | ○ | Article | A PYTHAGOREAN THEOREM FOR PARTITIONED MATRICES | We establish a Pythagorean theorem for the absolute values of the blocks of a partitioned matrix. This leads to a series of remarkable operator inequalities. For instance, if the matrix A is partitioned into three blocks A, B, C , then |A|(3 )>= U |A|U-3 & lowast; + V|B|V-3 & lowast; + W|C|W-3 & lowast;, root 3|A| >= U|A|U & lowast; + V|B|V & lowast; + W|C|W & lowast;, for some isometries U, V, W, and mu (2)(4)(A) <= mu (2)(3)(A) + mu (2)(2)(B) + mu (2)(1)(C) where mu (j) stands for the j-th singular value. Our theorem may be used to extend a result by Bhatia and Kittaneh for the Schatten p-norms and to give a singular value version of Cauchy's Interlacing Theorem. | Bourin, Jean-christophe; Lee, Eun-young | Univ Bourgogne Franche Comte, Lab Math, F-25000 Besancon, France; Kyungpook Natl Univ, KNU Ctr Nonlinear Dynam, Dept Math, Daegu 702701, South Korea | 6602591041; 55371789400 | jcbourin@univ-fcomte.fr;eylee89@knu.ac.kr; | PROCEEDINGS OF THE AMERICAN MATHEMATICAL SOCIETY | P AM MATH SOC | 0002-9939 | 1088-6826 | 152 | 10 | SCIE | MATHEMATICS, APPLIED;MATHEMATICS | 2024 | 0.8 | 39.9 | 0 | 2025-05-07 | 0 | 0 | Partitioned matrices; functional calculus; matrix inequalities | CONVEX; INEQUALITIES; OPERATORS | functional calculus; matrix inequalities; Partitioned matrices | English | 2024 | 2024-10 | 10.1090/proc/15677 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |||
| ○ | ○ | Article | An SL(3, C)-equivariant smooth compactification of moduli space of rational quartic plane curves | Let Rd be the space of stable sheaves F which satisfy the Hilbert polynomial chi(F(m)) = dm + 1 and are supported on rational curves in the projective plane P2. Then R1 (resp. R2) is isomorphic to P2 (resp. P5). In addition, R3 is well-known to be a P6-bundle over P2. In particular, Rd is smooth for d = 4, in general, the space Rd is no longer smooth because of the complexity of boundary curves. In this paper, we obtained an SL(3, C)-equivariant smooth resolution of R4 for d = 4, which is a P5-bundle over a blowup of a Kronecker modules space. (c) 2024 Elsevier Inc. | ○ | ○ | Article | CONVERGENCE OF POWER SEQUENCES OF B-OPERATORS WITH APPLICATIONS TO STABILITY | The B-operators (abbreviation for Brownian-type operators) are upper triangular 2 x 2 block matrix operators that satisfy certain algebraic constraints. The purpose of this paper is to characterize the weak, the strong and the uniform stability of B-operators, respectively. This is achieved by giving equivalent conditions for the convergence of powers of a B-operator in each of the corresponding topologies. A more subtle characterization is obtained for B-operators with subnormal (2, 2) entry. The issue of the strong stability of the adjoint of a B-operator is also discussed. | Chavan, Sameer; Jablonski, Zenon jan; Jung, Il bong; Stochel, Jan | Indian Inst Technol Kanpur, Dept Math & Stat, Kanpur, India; Uniwersytet Jagiellonski, Inst Matemat, ul Lojasiewicza 6, PL-30348 Krakow, Poland; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Dept Math, Daegu 702701, South Korea | 56421613800; 6602624635; 7102964485; 6602273956 | chavan@iitk.ac.in;Zenon.Jablonski@im.uj.edu.pl;ibjung@knu.ac.kr;Jan.Stochel@im.uj.edu.pl; | PROCEEDINGS OF THE AMERICAN MATHEMATICAL SOCIETY | P AM MATH SOC | 0002-9939 | 1088-6826 | 152 | 5 | SCIE | MATHEMATICS, APPLIED;MATHEMATICS | 2024 | 0.8 | 39.9 | 0.89 | 2025-05-07 | 1 | 1 | Stability; upper triangular 2 x 2 block matrix; B-operator; subnormal operator | HYPERINVARIANT SUBSPACES | B-operator; Stability; subnormal operator; upper triangular 2 × 2 block matrix | English | 2024 | 2024-05 | 10.1090/proc/16674 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |||

| ○ | ○ | Article | On a construction method of new moment sequences | In this paper we provide a way to construct new moment sequences from a given moment sequence. An operator based on multivariate positive polynomials is applied to get new moment sequences. A class of new sequences is corresponding to a unique symmetric polynomial; if this polynomial is positive, then the new sequence becomes again a moment sequence. Next as an application we obtain a classification of gradient pseudo-Ricci-Yamabe solitons on Hopf real hypersurfaces in Q(m). | Suh, Young Jin | Kyungpook Natl Univ, Dept Math, Daegu 41566, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, RIRCM, Daegu 41566, South Korea | 57205268556 | yjsuh@knu.ac.kr; | MATHEMATISCHE NACHRICHTEN | MATH NACHR | 0025-584X | 1522-2616 | 297 | 10 | SCIE | MATHEMATICS | 2024 | 0.8 | 39.9 | 0 | 2025-05-07 | 0 | 0 | A-isotropic; A-principal; complex conjugation; complex quadric; generalized pseudo-anti commuting property; pseudo-Ricci-Yamabe soliton; Ricci-Yamabe soliton | 2-PLANE GRASSMANNIANS; EINSTEIN HYPERSURFACES; SUBMANIFOLDS; MANIFOLDS; SPACE | A$\mathfrak {A}$-isotropic; A$\mathfrak {A}$-principal; complex conjugation; complex quadric; generalized pseudo-anti commuting property; pseudo-Ricci–Yamabe soliton; Ricci–Yamabe soliton | English | 2024 | 2024-10 | 10.1002/mana.202400087 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |||
| ○ | ○ | Article | Charge distribution studies in the epi-cadmium neutron induced fission of 235U | For the first time, charge distribution studies have been carried out in the epi-cadmium neutron induced fission of 235 U by measuring the fractional cumulative yields (FCY) and independent yields (IY) of various fission products. An off-line gamma-ray spectrometric technique was used for the measurements. The average energy of the epi-cadmium neutron spectrum is 1.9 MeV. From the FCY values, the isobaric width parameter ( sigma Z ), most probable charge ( Z P ) and the charge polarization ( Delta Zeta EXPT ) as a function of fragment mass were obtained. Similarly, from the IY values, isotopic width parameter (a A ), the most probable mass (A P ) and the elemental yields (Y Z ) of Sn, Sb, Te, I, Xe, Cs, Ba, La, Ce and Pr were determined by using a non-linear fit. From the Y Z values, the proton even-odd effect ( delta p ) was obtained for the first time . The present data in the 235 U(n, f) reaction were compared with the similar data in the 235 U(n th , f) and 238 U(n, f) reactions as well as of other actinides to examine the role of excitation energy and pairing effect. | Naik, H.; Singh, R. | ○ | ○ | Article | Independent isomeric yield ratios of fission products in the epi-cadmium neutron induced fission of ²³³U | The independent isomeric yield ratios (IR) of Sb-128,Sb-130,Sb-132, Te-131,Te-133, I-132,I-134,I-136, Xe-135 and Cs-138 have been measured in the epi-cadmium neutron induced fission of U-233 by using an off-line gamma-ray spectrometric technique. The average neutron energy of the epi-cadmium reactor neutron spectrum is 1.9 MeV. The root mean square fragment angular momenta (J(RMS)) were deduced from the IR values by using spin dependent statistical model analysis. The IR and J(RMS) values of considered fission products in the epi-cadmium neutron induced fission of U-233 were compared with the literature data in the thermal neutron induced fission of U-233 to examine the influence of excitation energy on nuclear structure effect. | Naik, H.; Singh, R.
