| ○ | ○ | Article | A matching prior based on the modified profile likelihood for the common mean in multiple log-normal distributions | In this paper, we develop a matching prior for the common mean in several log-normal distributions. For this problem, assigning priors appropriately for the common log-normal mean is challenging owing to the presence of nuisance parameters. Matching priors, which are priors that match the posterior probabilities of certain regions within their frequentist coverage probabilities, are commonly used in this problem. However, a closed form posterior under the derived first order matching prior is not available; further, the second order matching prior is difficult to be derived in this problem. Thus, alternatively, we derive a matching prior based on a modification of the profile likelihood. Simulation studies show that this proposed prior meets the target coverage probabilities very well even for small sample sizes. Finally, we present a real example. | Kim, Yongku; Lee, Woo Dong; Kang, Sang Gil | Kyungpook Natl Univ, Dept Stat, Daegu 41566, South Korea; Daegu Haany Univ, Dept Data Management, Kyungsan 38610, South Korea; Sangji Univ, Dept Comp & Data Informat, Wonju 26339, South Korea | 47962102500; 8328822200; 56119861400 | kim.1252@knu.ac.kr;wdlee@dhu.ac.kr;sangkg@sangji.ac.kr; | STATISTICAL PAPERS | STAT PAP | 0932-5026 | 1613-9798 | 61 | 2 | SCIE | STATISTICS & PROBABILITY | 2020 | 2.234 | 29.2 | 0.29 | 2025-06-25 | 2 | 2 | Matching prior; Modified profile likelihood; Common log-normal mean | CONFIDENCE-INTERVALS; NONINFORMATIVE PRIORS; INFERENCE | Common log-normal mean; Matching prior; Modified profile likelihood | English | 2020 | 2020-04 | 10.1007/s00362-017-0950-4 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |||
| ○ | ○ | Article | COVID-19 transmission and blood transfusion: A case report | The recent outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been labelled as a pandemic by the World Health Organization. Although person-to-person transmission of the etiologic agent, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has been confirmed, it is not known whether COVID-19 may be transmitted by blood transfusion. Notwithstanding the urgent requirement of blood, it is critical to know whether the SARS-CoV-2 virus can be transmitted by blood transfusion because many individuals may be asymptomatic carriers and may donate blood. Several cases in which specific viral RNA could be detected in the serum from patients with COVID-19 have already been reported; these findings suggest that blood donation may be an unexplored route of transmission. However, the American Association of Blood Banks and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have not recommended any specific SARS-CoV-2-related actions to be taken at blood collection centres at this time. In this report, we describe a case of a 21-year-old man with very severe aplastic anaemia who received apheresis platelet transfusion from an individual who was subsequently diagnosed with COVID-19. Our patient tested negative for COVID-19 and is awaiting allogeneic stem cell transplantation. (C) 2020 The Author(s). | ○ | ○ | Article | Dehydrogenation of pure methanol in an alkaline solution using copper electrodes | Herein, we focused on electrolysis to produce hydrogen-based energy to reduce pollution and cost of energy generation by replacing platinum (Pt) and ruthenium (Ru) anodes with copper (Cu) anodes, while demonstrating that H2 and CO can be obtained by dehydrogenating pure methanol in a non-compartment cell. Also this is a new study that is completely different from DMFC. Redox products of methanol and electrochemical efficiency were determined using various techniques. 1 V (vs Ag/AgCl [KCl sat']) was applied to quantitatively evaluate H-2 generation; on average, 801.17 mmol g(-1) L-1 h(-1) of H-2 was generated. The Cu electrode was electrochemically stable under the stirring at 150 rpm, indicating reduced toxicity by CO adsorption. Gas-phase CO and H-2, along with liquid- phase formate, carbonate, and paraformaldehyde, were obtained; the main product was H-2. However, details of the dehydrogenation mechanism remain unclear, and merit further investigations. (C) 2020 Hydrogen Energy Publications LLC. Published by Elsevier Ltd. | ○ | ○ | Article | Does Carboplatin Rapid Desensitization Change Its Adverse Drug Reactions Other than Hypersensitivity and Efficacy in Patients With Ovarian Cancer? | Purpose: Rapid drug desensitization is known to be a good strategy in patients with drug hypersensitivity to chemotherapy. However, changes in maximal drug concentration and exposure time in blood through desensitization may alter other adverse reactions and efficacy of the drug. We investigated rapid desensitization for carboplatin in terms of severe adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and efficacy compared with the standard infusion. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted on patients with recurrent ovarian cancer who received carboplatin chemotherapy from 2017 to 2019. We compared serious adverse events (SAEs), ADRs according to organ classes, time to progression (TTP), and overall survival (OS). Results: Of 108 desensitization procedures performed in 21 patients, 104 were successfully accomplished (96.3%). There were compared with 271 procedures in 41 patients who received the standard infusion method. There were 8 (7.7%) SAEs in the rapid desensitization group and 34 (12.5%) in the control group. One drug-related death occurred in the rapid desensitization group. In the rapid desensitized group, except for neutropenia, there was no statistically significant increase in SAEs and over grade 3 of ADRs according to organ classes compared with the control group. In the efficacy analysis, TTP and OS were similar in the 2 groups. Conclusions: Rapid desensitization of carboplatin can lower the risk of immediate hypersensitivity reactions without changing the inherent effect and severe ADRs. | Park, Han-Ki; Lee, Soo Jung; Kim, Sujeong; Lee, Jong-Myung; Hong, Dae Gy | Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Med, Dept Allergy & Clin Immunol, Daegu, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Med, Dept Oncol, Daegu, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Med, Dept Obstet & Gynecol, Daegu, South Korea | ; Park, Han-Ki/AAY-3102-2020; Kim, Ju-Hyoung/N-1450-2019 | 57218664064; 57203597252; 36666447400; 36123106800; 26656670100 | haan33@gmail.com;sj.lee@knu.ac.kr; | ALLERGY ASTHMA & IMMUNOLOGY RESEARCH | ALLERGY ASTHMA IMMUN | 2092-7355 | 2092-7363 | 12 | 6 | SCIE | ALLERGY;IMMUNOLOGY | 2020 | 5.764 | 29.3 | 0.37 | 2025-06-25 | 10 | 10 | Desensitization; hypersensitivity; antineoplastic agents; carboplatin; drug-related side effects and adverse reactions; drug effects; survival; ovarian neoplasm | RISK STRATIFICATION; CLINICAL-FEATURES; CHEMOTHERAPY; GEMCITABINE; CISPLATIN; TOXICITY | Antineoplastic agents; Carboplatin; Desensitization; Drug effects; Drug-related side effects and adverse reactions; Hypersensitivity; Ovarian neoplasm; Survival | bevacizumab; carboplatin; chlorpheniramine; dexamethasone; fexofenadine; gemcitabine; montelukast; paclitaxel; adult; adverse drug reaction; anemia; Article; cancer combination chemotherapy; cancer survival; cohort analysis; controlled study; cytoreductive surgery; desensitization; drug efficacy; drug hypersensitivity; female; gastrointestinal disease; human; infection; infestation; liver toxicity; major clinical study; nausea; nephrotoxicity; neurologic disease; neutropenia; nutritional disorder; ovary cancer; overall survival; retrospective study; thrombocytopenia | English | 2020 | 2020-11 | 10.4168/aair.2020.12.6.1046 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |

| ○ | ○ | Article; Proceedings Paper | One-pot synthesis of Cu-TiO2/CuO nanocomposite: Application to photocatalysis for enhanced H2 production, dye degradation & detoxification of Cr (VI) | Photocatalytic hydrogen production under the visible spectrum of solar light is an important topic of research. To achieve the targeted visible light hydrogen production and improve the charge carrier utilization, bandgap engineering and surface modification of the photocatalyst plays a vital role. Present work reports the one-pot synthesis of Cu TiO2/CuO nanocomposite photocatalyst using green surfactant -aided -ultrasonication method. The materials characterization data reveals the TiO2 particle size of 20-25 nm and the existence of copper in the lattice as well as in the surface of anatase TiO2. This is expected to facilitate better optical and surface properties. The optimized photocatalyst shows enhanced H-2 production rate of 10,453 mu mol h(-1) g(-1) of the catalyst which is 21 fold higher than pure TiO2 nanoparticles. The photocatalyst was tested for degradation of methylene blue dye (90% in 4 h) in aqueous solution and photocatalytic reduction of toxic Cr6+ ions (55% in 4 h) in aqueous solution. A plausible mechanistic pathway is also proposed. (C) 2019 Hydrogen Energy Publications LLC. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved. | Udayabhanu; Reddy, N. Lakshmana; Shankar, M. | ○ | ○ | Review | The KAAACI/KDA Evidence-Based Practice Guidelines for Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria in Korean Adults and Children: Part 1. Definition, Methodology and First-line Management | Chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) is defined as the occurrence of spontaneous wheals, angioedema, or both for >6 weeks in the absence of specific causes. It is a common condition associated with substantial disease burden both for affected individuals and societies in many countries, including Korea. CSU frequently persists for several years and requires high-intensity treatment; therefore, patients experience deteriorations in quality of life and medication-associated complications. During the last decade, there have been major advances in the pharmacological treatment of CSU and there is an outstanding need for evidence-based guidelines that reflect clinical practice in Korea. The guidelines reported here represent a joint initiative of the Korean Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Clinical Immunology and the Korean Dermatological Association, and aim to provide evidence-based guidance for the management of CSU in Korean adults and children. In Part 1, disease definition, guideline scope and development methodology as well as evidence-based recommendations on the use of antihistamines and corticosteroids are summarized. | Song, Woo-Jung; | ○ | ○ | Review | The KAAACI/KDA Evidence-Based Practice Guidelines for Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria in Korean Adults and Children: Part 2. Management of H1-Antihistamine-Refractory Chronic Urticaria | Quite a few patients with chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU) are refractory to H-1-antihistamines, even though the dose of H-1-antihistamines is increased up to 4-fold. CSU that is not controlled with H-1-antihistamines results in increased disease burden. Several immunomodulators have been used to manage these patients. The guidelines reported herein are connected to Part 1 of the KAAACI/KDA Evidence-Based Practice Guidelines for Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria in Korean Adults and Children, and aimed to provide evidence-based recommendations for the management of H-1-antihistamine-refractory CSU. Part 2 focuses on the more commonly used additional treatment options for refractory CSU, including omalizumab, cyclosporine, leukotriene receptor antagonist, dapsone, methotrexate, and phototherapy. The evidence to support their efficacy, dosing, safety, and selection of these agents is systematically reviewed. To date, for patients with refractory CSU, the methodologically sound data to evaluate the use of omalizumab has been growing; however, the evidence of other immunomodulators and phototherapy is still insufficient. Therefore, an individualized stepwise approach with a goal of achieving complete symptom control and minimizing side effects can be recommended. Larger controlled studies are needed to elevate the level of evidence to select a rational therapeutic agent for patients with refractory CSU. | Choi, Jeong-Hee; Lee, Dong Hun; Song, Woo-Jung; Choi, Mira; | ○ | ○ | Article | Effect of Multi-Pass Caliber Rolling on Dilute Extruded Mg-Bi-Ca Alloy | A Mg-1.32Bi-0.72Ca (BX11) alloy having bimodal grain structure was successfully prepared by a novel processing route of combining extrusion and three-pass caliber rolling. The first extruded and then caliber-rolled (E-CRed) alloy demonstrates a necklace-like grain structure with ultrafine grains formed around the microscale deformed grains, which is remarkably different from the uniform microstructure of the as-extruded alloy. In addition, the E-CRed BX11 alloy exhibits strong basal texture which is mainly original from the microscale deformed grains. Furthermore, the E-CRed BX11 alloy demonstrates excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, with an ultra-high yield strength of 351 MPa and a good elongation to failure of 13.2%. The significant strength improvement can be mainly attributed to the significant grain refinement and much stronger basal texture compared with the as-extruded sample. | Meng, Shuaiju; Yu, Hui; Han, Haisheng; Feng, Jianhang; Huang, Lixin; Dong, Lishan; Nan, Xiaolong; Li, Zhongjie; Park, Sung Hyuk; Zhao, Weimin | Hebei Univ Technol, Sch Mat Sci & Engn, Tianjin 300130, Peoples R China; Korea Inst Mat Sci, Magnesium Dept, Chang Won 51508, South Korea; Tianjin Key Lab Mat Laminating Fabricat & Interfa, Tianjin 300130, Peoples R China; CITIC Dicastal Co LTD, Qin Huangdao 066011, Hebei, Peoples R China; China Acad Engn Phys, Inst Fluid Phys, Natl Key Lab Shock Wave & Detonat Phys, Mianyang 621999, Sichuan, Peoples R China; Shannghai Jiao Tong Univ, Sch Mat Sci & Engn, Shuanghai 200240, Peoples R China; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Mat Sci & Engn, Daegu 41566, South Korea | Huang, Hongwen/AAD-6853-2020; Park, Sung-Hyuk/AAE-6726-2022; Li, Zhongjie/J-1474-2018; Zhao, Weimin/I-6153-2016; yu, hui/H-8481-2012; Yu, Hui/H-8481-2012 | 57190763504; 7405855938; 57215010214; 57201554256; 57215233280; 57214990135; 54890574200; 57204626991; 54786002500; 55725938100 | shuaijumeng@163.com;yuhuidavid@126.com;hanhaisheng@hebut.edu.cn;13933765819@126.com;huanglixin@dicastal.com;donglishan1991@163.com;Nanxl@caep.cn;lizhongjie1993@126.com;sh.park@knu.ac.kr;wmzhao@hebut.edu.cn; | METALS | METALS-BASEL | 2075-4701 | 10 | 3 | SCIE | MATERIALS SCIENCE, MULTIDISCIPLINARY;METALLURGY & METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING | 2020 | 2.351 | 29.4 | 0.22 | 2025-06-25 | 4 | 4 | Mg-Bi-Ca; mechanical property; bimodal microstructure | ACHIEVING HIGH-STRENGTH; ULTRA-HIGH STRENGTH; MECHANICAL-PROPERTIES; TENSILE PROPERTIES; MAGNESIUM ALLOYS; GRAIN-SIZE; MICROSTRUCTURE; DUCTILITY; TEMPERATURE; FABRICATION | Bimodal microstructure; Mechanical property; Mg-Bi-Ca | English | 2020 | 2020-03 | 10.3390/met10030332 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |||
| ○ | ○ | Article | Heterogeneous Material Additive Manufacturing for Hot-Stamping Die | Additive manufacturing (AM) has recently been receiving global attention. As an innovative alternative to existing manufacturing technologies, AM can produce three-dimensional objects from various materials. In the manufacturing industry, AM improves production cost, time, and quality in comparison to existing methods. In addition, AM is applied in the fabrication and production of objects in diverse fields. In particular, metal AM has been continuously commercialized in high value-added industries such as aerospace and health care by many research and development projects. However, the applicability of metal AM to the mold and die industry and other low value-added industries is limited because AM is not as economical as current manufacturing technologies. Therefore, this paper proposes an effective solution to the problem. This study examines a method for using direct energy deposition and heterogeneous materials, a heterogeneous material additive-manufacturing process for metals used to optimize the cooling channels and a key process in manufacturing hot-stamping dies. The improvements in the cooling performances and uniform cooling were evaluated by heat-flow analysis in a continuous process. Finally, trial products were fabricated using the proposed method, and a trial for hot stamping was conducted to examine the possibility of it being used in commercial applications. | Hong, Myoung-Pyo; Kim, Jin-Jae; Kim, Woo-Sung; Lee, Min-Kyu; Bae, Ki-Man; Kim, Young-Suk; Sung, Ji-Hyun | Korea Inst Ind Technol, Extreme Fabricat Technol Grp, 320 Techno Sunhwan Ro, Dalseong Gun 711883, Daegu, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Mech Engn, Daugu 41566, South Korea; IL GI TECH CO LTD, Precedence Dev Team, 50 Gongdan4 Ro, Gyeongsanbuk Do 712883, Gyeongsan Si, South Korea | Park, Jun/HPH-3570-2023; Lee, Jinwoo/P-2493-2018 | 57192270657; 57209555877; 57200625190; 57218901564; 57200625331; 36065820800; 23482644100 | mp77@kitech.re.kr;jinjaekim@knu.ac.kr;kws0629@kitech.re.kr;dlalsrb@kitech.re.kr;tank5346@nate.com;caekim@knu.ac.kr;jsung@kitech.re.kr; | METALS | METALS-BASEL | 2075-4701 | 10 | 9 | SCIE | MATERIALS SCIENCE, MULTIDISCIPLINARY;METALLURGY & METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING | 2020 | 2.351 | 29.4 | 0.44 | 2025-06-25 | 5 | 8 | additive manufacturing; cooling channel system; direct energy deposition; functional metal powder; hot-stamping die | DEPOSITION; ENERGY; TOOL; COMPONENTS | Additive manufacturing; Cooling channel system; Direct energy deposition; Functional metal powder; Hot-stamping die | English | 2020 | 2020-09 | 10.3390/met10091210 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |||
| ○ | ○ | Article | RSM and BPNN Modeling in Incremental Sheet Forming Process for AA5052 Sheet: Multi-Objective Optimization Using Genetic Algorithm | In this study, the response surface method (RSM), back propagation neural network (BPNN), and genetic algorithm (GA) were used for modeling and multi-objective optimization of the forming parameters of AA5052 in incremental sheet forming (ISF). The optimization objectives were maximum forming angle and minimum thickness reduction whose values vary in response to changes in production process parameters, such as the tool diameter, step depth, tool feed rate, and tool spindle speed. A Box-Behnken experimental design was used to develop an RSM and BPNN model for modeling the variations in the forming angle and thickness reduction in response to variations in process parameters. Subsequently, the RSM model was used as the fitness function for multi-objective optimization of the ISF process using the GA. The results showed that RSM effectively modeled the forming angle and thickness reduction. Furthermore, the correlation coefficients of the experimental responses and BPNN predictions of the experiment results were good with the minimum value being 0.97936. The Pareto optimal solutions for maximum forming angle and minimum thickness reduction were obtained and reported. The optimized Pareto front produced by the GA can be a rational design guide for practical applications of AA5052 in the ISF process. | Xiao, Xiao; Kim, Jin-Jae; Hong, Myoung-Pyo; Yang, Sen; Kim, Young-Suk | Kyungpook Natl Univ, Grad Sch, Daegu 41566, South Korea; Korea Inst Ind Technol, Extreme Fabricat Technol Grp, Daegu 711883, South Korea; AAC Commun Technol, Changzhou 213001, Jiangsu, Peoples R China; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Mech Engn, Daegu 41566, South Korea | Kim, Sang-Hoon/AAA-2248-2020 | 57195394085; 57209555877; 57192270657; 57211837796; 36065820800 | xiaoye012512@knu.ac.kr;jinjaekim@knu.ac.kr;mp77@kitech.re.kr;YangSen@aactechnologies.com;caekim@knu.ac.kr; | METALS | METALS-BASEL | 2075-4701 | 10 | 8 | SCIE | MATERIALS SCIENCE, MULTIDISCIPLINARY;METALLURGY & METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING | 2020 | 2.351 | 29.4 | 0.88 | 2025-06-25 | 20 | 23 | incremental sheet forming; RSM; BP neural network; genetic algorithm; multi-objective optimization | SINGLE-POINT; PROCESS PARAMETERS; FORMABILITY; ANN | BP neural network; Genetic algorithm; Incremental sheet forming; Multi-objective optimization; RSM | English | 2020 | 2020-08 | 10.3390/met10081003 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |||
| ○ | ○ | Article | Gold Nanoparticle-Enhanced and Roll-to-Roll Nanoimprinted LSPR Platform for Detecting Interleukin-10 | Localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) is a powerful platform for detecting biomolecules including proteins, nucleotides, and vesicles. Here, we report a colloidal gold (Au) nanoparticle-based assay that enhances the LSPR signal of nanoimprinted Au strips. The binding of the colloidal Au nanoparticle on the Au strip causes a red-shift of the LSPR extinction peak, enabling the detection of interleukin-10 (IL-10) cytokine. For LSPR sensor fabrication, we employed a roll-to-roll nanoimprinting process to create nanograting structures on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film. By the angled deposition of Au on the PET film, we demonstrated a double-bent Au structure with a strong LSPR extinction peak at similar to 760 nm. Using the Au LSPR sensor, we developed an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) protocol by forming a sandwich structure of IL-10 capture antibody/IL-10/IL-10 detection antibody. To enhance the LSPR signal, we introduced colloidal Au nanocube (AuNC) to be cross-linked with IL-10 detection antibody for immunogold assay. Using IL-10 as a model protein, we successfully achieved nanomolar sensitivity. We confirmed that the shift of the extinction peak was improved by 450% due to plasmon coupling between AuNC and Au strip. We expect that the AuNC-assisted LSPR sensor platform can be utilized as a diagnostic tool by providing convenient and fast detection of the LSPR signal. | Baek, Seung Hee; Song, Hyun Woo; Lee, Sunwoong; Kim, Jung-Eun; Kim, Yeo Hyang; Wi, Jung-Sub; Ok, Jong G.; Park, Jun Seok; Hong, Seonki; Kwak, Moon Kyu; Lee, Hye Jin; Nam, Sung-Wook | Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Med, Dept Mol Med, Daegu, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Mech Engn, Dept Mech Engn, Daegu, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Med, Dept Pediat, Daegu, South Korea; Korea Res Inst Stand & Sci, Ctr Nanobio Measurement, Daejeon, South Korea; Seoul Natl Univ Sci & Technol, Dept Mech & Automot Engn, Seoul, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Med, Dept Surg, Daegu, South Korea; Daegu Gyeongbuk Inst Sci & Technol DGIST, Dept Emerging Mat Sci, Daegu, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Dept Chem, Daegu, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Green Nano Mat Res Ctr, Daegu, South Korea | Kwak, Moon/AGQ-6058-2022; LEE, HYEJIN/W-1345-2018; Ok, Jong/B-2509-2010; Ok, Jong G./B-2509-2010; Park, Joonhong/AAZ-9885-2020; Nam, Sung-Wook/V-5519-2019 | 57203346671; 57212219196; 57215897149; 57209054588; 57032023800; 8326663000; 16480899100; 35226761100; 37461264400; 57203947984; 56569175200; 16167127700 | mkkwak@knu.ac.kr;hyejinlee@knu.ac.kr;nams@knu.ac.kr; | FRONTIERS IN CHEMISTRY | FRONT CHEM | 2296-2646 | 8 | SCIE | CHEMISTRY, MULTIDISCIPLINARY | 2020 | 5.221 | 29.5 | 1.24 | 2025-06-25 | 25 | 26 | Au nanocube; IL-10; Au LSPR strip; roll-to-roll; nanoarchitecture | SURFACE-PLASMON RESONANCE; RANGE | Au LSPR strip; Au nanocube; IL-10; nanoarchitecture; roll-to-roll | English | 2020 | 2020-05-26 | 10.3389/fchem.2020.00285 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | ||||
| ○ | ○ | Article | An accelerated rendering scheme for massively large point cloud data | In the field of large-scale data visualization, the graphics rendering speed is one of the most important factors for its application development. Since the large-scale data visualization usually requires three-dimensional representations, the three-dimensional graphics libraries such as OpenGL and DirectX have been widely used. In this paper, we suggest a new way of accelerated rendering, through directly using the direct rendering manager packets. Current three-dimensional graphics features are focused on the efficiency of general purpose rendering pipelines. In contrast, we concentrated on the speed-up of the special-purpose rendering pipeline, for point cloud rendering. Our result shows that we achieved our purpose effectively. | Baek, Nakhoon; Yoo, Kwan-Hee | Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Comp Sci & Engn, Daegu 41566, South Korea; Chungbuk Natl Univ, Dept Comp Sci, Cheongju 28644, Chungbuk, South Korea | 7007017954; 8859846800 | oceancru@gmail.com;khyoo@cbnu.ac.kr; | JOURNAL OF SUPERCOMPUTING | J SUPERCOMPUT | 0920-8542 | 1573-0484 | 76 | 10 | SCIE | COMPUTER SCIENCE, HARDWARE & ARCHITECTURE;COMPUTER SCIENCE, THEORY & METHODS;ENGINEERING, ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC | 2020 | 2.474 | 29.6 | 0.14 | 2025-06-25 | 2 | 4 | Large-scale data visualization; Direct rendering manager; Graphics acceleration; Point rendering | Direct rendering manager; Graphics acceleration; Large-scale data visualization; Point rendering | Application programming interfaces (API); Data visualization; Managers; Pipelines; Three dimensional computer graphics; Visualization; Dimensional representation; Direct renderings; Graphics rendering; ITS applications; Large-scale data visualization; Point rendering; Rendering pipelines; Three-dimensional graphics; Rendering (computer graphics) | English | 2020 | 2020-10 | 10.1007/s11227-019-03114-y | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | |||
| ○ | ○ | Article | An emulation scheme for OpenGL SC 2.0 over OpenGL | OpenGL SC (OpenGL for Safety Critical) is the safety-critical variation of the famous OpenGL 3D graphics library. The latest version of OpenGL SC was on release in the year of 2016, as the OpenGL SC 2.0. To provide the full features of this new standard, we need its new implementations. As the first step, we here present the way of emulating it over the widely used desktop OpenGL. It is the first literature on the implementation of the new graphics standard, at least to the best of our knowledge. We present the detailed analysis and design of the emulator. | Baek, Nakhoon | Kyungpook Natl Univ, Sch Comp Sci & Engn, Daegu 41566, South Korea; Kyungpook Natl Univ, Software Technol Res Ctr, Daegu 41566, South Korea; Dassomeycom Inc, Daegu 41566, South Korea | 7007017954 | oceancru@gmail.com; | JOURNAL OF SUPERCOMPUTING | J SUPERCOMPUT | 0920-8542 | 1573-0484 | 76 | 10 | SCIE | COMPUTER SCIENCE, HARDWARE & ARCHITECTURE;COMPUTER SCIENCE, THEORY & METHODS;ENGINEERING, ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC | 2020 | 2.474 | 29.6 | 0.22 | 2025-06-25 | 5 | 5 | OpenGL SC 2; 0; Emulation; Desktop OpenGL | GRAPHICS | Desktop OpenGL; Emulation; OpenGL SC 2.0 | Application programming interfaces (API); Safety engineering; 3D graphics libraries; Desktop OpenGL; Emulation; Opengl sc; Computer graphics | English | 2020 | 2020-10 | 10.1007/s11227-018-2399-1 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | 바로가기 | ||
